1. Classified by firing temperature:
(1) Low-temperature tunnel kiln (1000~1350℃);
(2) Medium-temperature tunnel kiln (1350~1550℃);
(3) High-temperature tunnel kiln (1550~1750℃);
(4) Ultra-high temperature tunnel kiln (1750~1950℃).
2. Classified by firing products:
(1) Refractory tunnel kiln;
(2) Ceramic tunnel kiln;
(3) Red brick tunnel kiln.
3. Classified by heat source:
(1) Flame tunnel kiln;
(2) Electric tunnel kiln.
4. Classified by whether the flame enters the tunnel:
(1) Open-flame tunnel kiln;
(2) Flameless tunnel kiln;
(3) Semi-flameless tunnel kiln.
5. Classified by in-kiln transport equipment:
(1) Car-type tunnel kiln;
(2) Pusher-type tunnel kiln;
(3) Roller hearth tunnel kiln;
(4) Conveyor belt tunnel kiln;
(5) Step-type tunnel kiln;
(6) Air cushion tunnel kiln.
6. Classified by the number of channels:
(1) Single-channel tunnel kiln;
(2) Multi-channel tunnel kiln.
